Ozempic and Mounjaro – at the Endocrinology Clinic

Pharmacological treatment of obesity in modern endocrinology is an effective and scientifically proven approach. Excess weight is not just an aesthetic issue — it increases the risk of developing conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases. This is why obesity management requires a professional, comprehensive, and individually tailored approach.
Before starting pharmacological treatment, a comprehensive assessment of the body is essential. At the clinic, patients undergo detailed laboratory and instrumental evaluations: thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), FT4, lipid profile, HOMA index, complete blood count (CBC), liver function tests, and creatinine. Additionally, ultrasound examinations of the thyroid gland and abdominal cavity are performed. This stage is crucial for identifying the causes of obesity and planning a safe course of treatment.
One of the modern methods of pharmacological management is Ozempic (semaglutide), used for weight reduction and the improvement of metabolic processes. The medication acts on appetite regulation, reducing the urge to eat and improving glucose metabolism. Its use is strictly under the supervision of an endocrinologist, following an individually tailored schedule.
Regular consultation with an endocrinologist is an essential part of the treatment process. The doctor evaluates the body's response, monitors lab results, and adjusts dosages or the treatment plan as necessary. Such monitoring ensures both safety and maximum effectiveness.
Pharmacological treatment of obesity does not mean simply taking a medication — it represents a lifestyle change, nutritional correction, and physical activity support. It is this comprehensive approach that yields long-term and sustainable results.
This service at the clinic provides patients with the opportunity to begin the weight reduction process safely and professionally, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and significantly improve their quality of life.
